Big NFL move! Samuel heads to Washington.

The 49ers traded Deebo Samuel. He goes to the Commanders. A fifth-round pick is the return. Ian Rapoport reported the trade. Samuel requested a trade earlier. He played six years with the 49ers. He was drafted in 2019. He came from South Carolina.  

Samuel had 334 receptions. He gained 4,972 yards. He scored 20 touchdowns. He helped two Super Bowl runs. He was an All-Pro in 2021. He went to the Pro Bowl.  

He joins Jayden Daniels. Daniels is Rookie of the Year. They will form a strong offense.
